App Migration - SafetyFirst Driving School

Challenge:

SafetyFirst driving school was running their online education application in an on-prem environment. They were facing issues with scalability but did not want to invest in purchasing additional hardware as it would be sitting idle for majority of the time. They wanted a scalable solutions that can save them cost with the ability to scale with demand.

Solution:

CRE8IVELOGIX Inc. architects are experts in on-prem as well as cloud technologies. They assessed the needs of the business and analyzed the existing state of the application. Once they identified a migration plan, they first tested out the subset of application first. Once they identified possible hurdles they first addressed them and then created automated scripts to help with the migration to AWS platform.

RDS, EC2, ECR, Auto Scaling, Application Load Balancers, S3, CloudFront, VPC.

Outcome:

Once the application was migrated to AWS, it was able to scale up as the traffic increased and was able to scale down when the traffic decreased. This helped SafetyFirst driving school achieve their goal of cost savings by 1000s of dollars without compromising on the availability and reliability of the application.
